How do you use herbs to help my pet?
Most herbs are prescribed as herbal formulations, or as a group of multiple herbs. Research has found that when herbs are used in formulations, the herbs have a synergistic, or additive effect on each other, meaning they become more effective than when used alone. Doses of individual herbs can be reduced significantly as well as any toxicity from herbs generally avoided completely. Herbal formulations are always tailored and individualized for your pet for the most effective, most appropriate and safest treatment plan. Almost all of our patients go home at their initial consultation with a specialized herbal plan that was made just for them, with love, in our office!
